Chris Carmichael
Chris Carmichael is the founder and CEO of Carmichael Training Systems, a pioneering company in the endurance coaching industry. Through nearly 15 years, CTS has worked with more than 10,000 amateur and professional athletes and grown to employ nearly 50 full-time coaches in four locations nationwide. Chris was a member of the 1984 Olympic Team and the iconic 7-Eleven Pro Cycling Team, and is a bestselling author of more than 10 books on training and nutrition, including “The Time-Crunched Cyclist”. Coach to the US Olympic Cycling Team in 1992 and 1996, he was named the US Olympic Committee Coach of the Year in 1999, inducted into the US Bicycling Hall of Fame in 2003, and was given a Lifetime Achievement Award from USA Cycling in 2004.
