Camping

Outdoor camping space will be provided to riders free of charge beginning Saturday, June 10. No reservations are needed for outdoor camping. You are required to set up and take down your own tent. Outdoor camping is close to the HQ facilities such as the mobile showers, luggage trucks, and portable toilets. Your camping equipment is part of your 70lb baggage limit. Additional luggage tags can be purchased during registration for $40. If you’ve already registered, follow the instructions for adding merchandise (product) on our How-To Blog post.

This year through our hotel partner, Hotel Planner we are happy to offer more flexible lodging accommodations. Each Link will take you directly to a page that will provide hotel options associated with HQ locations for each stay.


Camping Elevated (Valet Tents)

Camping Elevated: Summit Cycle Solutions is proud to bring our “Camping Elevated” service again to Ride The Rockies in 2023. Summit Cycle Solutions will set up, take down, and provide participants with “valet camping” accommodations each night along the tour.

Items Included:
Set Up: Daily set up prior to participant arrival.
Take Down: Daily tear down upon departure.
Hospitality Tent: Includes drinks, phone charging, snacks.
Tent: 9×7 Coleman Sundome (or similar)
Air Mattress: Coleman Twin Air Mattress (per occupant)
Chair: Coleman Quad Chair (per occupant)

Items Not Included:
Personal Amenities: Linen (sleeping bags, towel, etc.)
Full Meals: Available for purchase “on own” via the host community.

Optional Service Items:
Luggage Transportation: Participants may elect to use S.C.S.’s luggage transportation service as desired.

Baggage Transportation: Want to cycle from hotel to hotel each day? Summit Cycle Solutions provides hassle free luggage transportation services to hotels each day. Hotels are required to have a front desk and be within 10 miles of the daily HQ (please see route). Make sure you’ve purchased hotels via the Ride the Rockies lodging page before confirming your transfer itinerary.
